If you are interested to see everything around the island then you should go for bike riding. The land is flat and automobiles are strictly forbidden on the island. With quite less herding required for the kids it could be an easy ride.

Few of the palaces are opened to visitors with paintings and sculptures on exposure. There are hills, perfect for rocking down. Ellis Island--The Best Island Attraction of NYC

Walter V. Cranford opened the Cranford Rose Garden in 1928. He was a construction engineer and denoted $15,000 to BBG for a beautiful rose garden. Harold Caparn and Montague Free designed it. There are almost 1400 species of roses including old golden roses, wild species, grand floras, floribundas, polyanthus, hybrid perpetual, ramblers, and miniature roses, with over 5000 bushes of them. The foundation of Shakespeare Garden was laid in 1925 from the donation of Henry C. Folger, founder of Folger Shakespeare Library. This garden contains more than 80 plants, which has been mentioned in William Shakespeare poems and plays.

The first Japanese garden to be produced in American territory was BBG’s Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden. It covers an area of 3 acres containing hills, a pond, a waterfall, and an island, all created artificially.

Grand Central Terminal

The largest train station in the world with 67 tracks is the very famous Grand Central Terminal, situated at 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan. The terminal has an area of 48 acres and there are two levels of tracks. 42 tracks are on the upper level and 26 on the lower one. In 2016, it is expected that Grand Central will offer 75 tracks and 48 platforms.

There is no strand sales outlet in the building complex, except for a coffee shop-Starbucks and a pharmacy-Rite Aid.

The hub of the Grand Central is the Main Concourse. The place is erectile and mostly filled with hustling crowds. After the mighty attacks on World Trade Center, large American flags were flowed in Grand Central Terminal. The most recognizable image of Grand Central is the 4-faced clock on crown of the information booth. This information booth is present right in middle of the concourse.
