Remarkable bridges in New York City

It is the paradise on earth a dream place of millions of people. It is the city of wonderful sights, astonishing landscaping and compelling architecture with endless bridges, which not only facilitates people but also make a bond.

The most charming and astonishing overpass of NYC are:

The Brooklyn Bridge: is the oldest postponement, it stenches up to 1825 m. In 1964, The Brooklyn was declared as a national historic landmark. It connects NYC with Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Manhattan Bridge: Gustav Lindenthal, Nichols and Leon Moisseiff were the architects of the overpass.   At December 31 1909 the it was opened for traffic. It is free for the motor vehicles. It crosses the East River. it is the suspension overpass.

Williamsburg Bridge: Architect Gustav Lindenthal constructs Williamsburg flyover. Williamsburg is the 2nd largest suspension overpass on the earth.

George Washington Bridge: it is the forth-largest suspension overpass in United States and considered as a world’s largest flyover on the earth. This is usually none as GW. It speed limet  is 45 and there is a path for the walker on the both side of the GWB.

Hell Gate: it is the railroad connection between the New York and Amtrak. Per day one metro-north railroad are allowed.

Queensboro Bridge:  it is also called ‘59th Street flyover. Its construction was completed in 1909.

High Bridge: it is the oldest flyoverin the NYC.  It connect the Manhattan to Bronx over Harlem River.

Other distinguished flyovers are Verrazano, Triborough, Pine Bank, Bow, Washington, Roosevelt Island, Robert F. Kennedy, Rikers Island, Bronx–Whitestone and Throgs Neck.

It is the one of the biggest place in the world but is very atypical that people are facing some kind of traffic problems so it is impossible that people loss time due to traffic.
